<- Hatchet/Side
Lighting,

How this affect works- Your in a dark room and the light is focused on one side of the object/person to only make one side bright.

                                          Rembrandt light ->

               How this affect works-  A light on one half the face, and a triangle of light on the shadowed side of the face.

<- Glamour/Butterfly lighting.

How this affect works- Butterfly consists of a single light pointed directly at the subject straight on, and raised high enough to create a downward shadow on the subject.

Cross Processing - hye soo kim

 Definition of Cross processing
Cross processing gained popularity in the 1960s, as an effect created by purposefully using the wrong chemicals to process film. There are many variations of cross-processing, but the most recognizable attributes are the darkest parts of a photo becoming blue, with the photo taking on a slight general yellow tint. Cross processing can be reproduced using Photoshop's curves and levels to alter a photo's tone.

3 examples of Cross Processing

I think Cross processing is not really hard to do it. but The overall atmosphere is very really lively,  and I want to take a picture like that. I like those 3photo because they show me good Cross processing. the photos has a good mood and really lively. and Cross processing make a good texture for person or background.  i want to take a sport person and ocean or river to use Cross processing.

Double Exposure Reflections Question's Anwer - hye soo kim

A1.
A2. This two film photo is my favorite double Exposure Reflection. because this two photo has a good composition, value and texture were coming out very well.  kind of fresh texture in this photos.

A3. I don't really like film photo. I was so struggle when I made contact sheet. because  I didn't know what filter and brightness and shade is right for my photo. I tried blue and regular and pink light and figure out  brightness and shade. red light 80 and 8seconds! this film photo was too difficult for me but I leaned a lot of skills. so I'm happy about it.

A4. it was very  frustrating to me because of  filter and brightness and shade has many trouble to me (light and texture). but  I learned how to do film photo more details and sensitively  and get passion. it's hard but film photo is very meaningful then digital camera.
